Our History
For over 20 years, Enterprise Visions has been committed to helping businesses navigate the ever-changing technology landscape. Our mission from the start has been simple: to act as trusted technology advisors and make technology work for our clients.
We began by helping organizations identify their technology gaps and design tailored solutions. As client needs grew, we expanded our services to include cloud solutions, cybersecurity, managed services, connectivity, and more. By leveraging relationships with over 300 technology vendors, we source the best options at competitive prices, saving clients time and resources in the process.
Our focus has always been on building long-term relationships, offering ongoing support, and delivering cost-effective, future-proof solutions. As a no-cost service to our clients, we negotiate on their behalf, ensuring they receive the best possible value.
Looking ahead, we remain dedicated to solving problems, streamlining operations, and empowering our clients to succeed through innovative technology solutions.
Enterprise Visions Timeline:
- July 2004: Enterprise was founded by Larry Hegle and Joel Rivard after leaving their positions at Lumen (Qwest).
- September 2004: The first employee was hired, and she stayed until her retirement.
- January 2005: Tom Richard joined the organization as a partner.
- 2005: The team moved into their first official office space in St. Paul, located off Rice St & Hwy 36. The team was now a group of five in a 3-room office. Joel was given his own office due to his loud talking. 😊
- 2006: Brought on our first two fortune 500 Customers.
- 2007: Started working with a large State entity.
- 2008: The company moved to a new larger office in Vadnais Heights, MN.
- 2009: Continued adding Sales / Technology Advisors.
- 2009: Acquired WorksTel from Ron Beltz and he became Director of Sales.
- 2015: Tom Richards Retired and Ron Beltz became a partner.
- 2017: This was a difficult year for Enterprise Visions as lost one of our founding partners, Larry Hegle, to cancer.
- May 2019: The company moved to its current location in Shoreview, MN.
- October 2019: Doug Plooster joined as President of Enterprise Visions.
- December 2021: Ron Belz retired to enjoy his favorite past time, golf.
- January 2022: Doug Plooster became a partner and assumed the role of President & CEO. Joel Rivard maintained in his position as partner and became the COO of Enterprise Visions.
- 2024: Becky Boullion was promoted to Vice President of Operations.
